Commissioned picture.  I enjoyed drawing this one.  It was my first non-portrait work and surprisingly easier than drawing a face. 

Since it was a surprise present for someone, the client only had a few photos of the plane.  But due to wonderful luck, there was a local airshow at the same time with a plane of the same model. So I had the opportunity to take dozens of close-up photos of the twin plane to get the details correct.
